Description
The accommodation is separate from the bar area. The bar is open to the public on Tuesday, Friday and Saturday evenings, but the facilities that include pool, darts and other games, are available to guests at other times as well. An assortment of musical instruments, including piano and guitars, can be used by the guests
The self-catering accommodation is in 5 rooms each with 4 bunk beds and one room with 6. There are 4 en-suite bathrooms and two further bathrooms, superb guest dining and lounge areas with a large library of maps, walking and cycling guides
Drying and laundry facilities, secure bike storage, parking.

Local Interests/Attractions
There are many opportunities for walking at all levels from forest trails to mountain hikes (Cadir Idris - 3 miles). The area is well known for cycling routes both on and off road. Mountain bike hire can be arranged. The Mach 1,2,3 trails, Nany yr Arian, and Coed y Brenin are all within easy reach. The Cli-Machx mountain bike trail is 1 mile from us with its spectacular, exciting final decent. Birdwatchers, outdoor activity enthusiasts, anglers and those just wishing for peace and quiet will find something to occupy them in the area!
Activity packages can be provided by our own instructors for those wishing to be a bit more adventurous. Guided walks on and around Cadir Idris. Kayak & canoe packages from short 'taster' sessions through touring to coach training & assessments. Climbing days from simple beginner routes to more advanced techniques. On our own indoor training area we can organise rope access courses for budding climbing & SRT coaches or those simply wanting to understand what to do with ropes. Also on offer are adventure walks, problem solving sessions, corporate management training, orienteering, navigation & map reading.
The local towns of Machynlleth and Dolgellau, the Centre for Alternative Technology, King Arthur's Labyrinth and the Corris Steam Railway are all close by.
