Description

The Bunkhouse is perfectly situated for the wide variety of outdoor activities (walking, biking, surfing, fishing, kayaking, coastal trips etc) available on the beautiful Gower peninsula.

We offer a friendly atmosphere set in spectacular scenery with something for everyone.

Heating/Cooking Facilities

A fully equipped kitchen with a 6 ring cooker, microwave and 2 fridges plus seating for 14 people. A small freezer is available for use. The Bunkhouse is centrally heated by under-floor heating on the ground floor and radiators are in all the upstairs bedrooms.

What to bring

Sheets, duvet covers, or your own sleeping bag, pillowcases, towels, tea-towels, food.

There is a regular bus service from the centre of Swansea. Telephone First (local bus service) on 0870 6082608.

Sites of historical interest include ancient burial mounds, castles, Iron Age forts a water-mill and Heritage Centre.

National Nature Reserves at Oxwich and Whitford.

The National Trust Visitor Centre and Gift Shop at Rhossili.

An abundance of safe sandy beaches and secluded bays and coves.

Opportunities to surf, sail, swim, para or hang glide, horse-ride, fish, take a trip around the coast to see the Peninsula and it’s wildlife from a different angle.
